The bell tower was completed several years later (1910), as indicated by a relevant inscription mentioning the name of its builder (IOAN. ΖΟUΝ.). The size and the quality of the architecture and its decorations demonstrate the high expectations of the settlement’s inhabitants as well as its prime in the second half of the nineteenth and the first half of the twentieth century.
